Children and Youth

It is a great joy and privilege of ours to minister to the 100+ children who gather here for worship with their families! We are deeply committed to intergenerational worship and our corporate responsibility to support families as they seek maturity in Christ for their covenant children (Col 1.28). Our children’s classes and youth gatherings aim to complement parents in your calling to “bring up your children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Eph. 6:4).

Worship

Kids of all ages are a vital part of our congregation and are invited to participate in our gathered worship each Lord’s Day, learning the rhythm of corporate, intergenerational, formative , and God-honoring worship. We encourage parents to assist their children in learning to actively participate throughout our service.

Our Nursery is available throughout the entirety of our worship services on the 2nd floor for children under 3. *The nursery is not available in-between worship services.

Our Little Sprouts class provides a time of age-appropriate teaching during the sermon for children aged 3-5, until they begin Kindergarten. Children are checked-in and picked-up outside of the sanctuary, and their class is on the 2nd floor.

Elementary Classes

Classes supplementing corporate worship are offered for elementary-aged children between worship services (10:10-10:50). All elementary classes meet on the 2nd floor.

We have three elementary classes: K-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th

Each class is led by two adults and centers on Biblical teaching within the context of relationships.

Youth Gatherings

Middle School, 6th-8th

Middle School youth meet on Sunday mornings between worship services from 10:10-10:50 on the 3rd floor. Our Middle School Team, led by Pastoral Intern Troy Cash, teaches Biblical content to these students as they build relationships together.

High School, 9th-12th

High School youth meet each Sunday evening for study and fellowship from 6-8pm on the 3rd floor. Our High School Team, also led by Pastoral Intern Troy Cash, help high schoolers grow in community together and mature in their faith through Biblical teaching.

Our Middle and High School Teams host and organize periodic fun and fellowship nights as well!

During the summer months, our youth have the opportunity to go to the RYM Conference or serve alongside other CCC members on a mission trip!
